NutriForMe Terms of Service

Agreeing to these terms

By using NutriForMe you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the app and delete it. We may update these terms; the date at the end tells you when they last changed, and continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the new version.

What NutriForMe is, and is not

NutriForMe is an informational and educational nutrition and lifestyle app. It is not medical advice and not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition, and it does not tell you whether a food is safe for you. Decisions about your health belong with you and your clinician. Never delay or disregard professional advice because of something you read in this app. If you think you are having a medical emergency, call 000.

Your account

You need an account for sync and the AI features. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us if you think someone else has access to it. You can delete your account at any time from Profile, which removes its server copy.

What you put in

The information you record stays yours. You are responsible for its accuracy — the app can only work with what it is given, and a mistyped weight or portion produces a wrong total. Do not record other people's health information without their consent.

Plans and payment

Some features have daily limits that depend on your plan. Where a paid plan is offered, it is billed through your Apple ID under Apple's terms, and you manage or cancel it in your Apple ID settings — not in this app. Prices and limits can change; we will tell you before a change affects a plan you are paying for. We do not offer refunds directly; refunds are handled by Apple.

AI features

Ask, photo analysis, label reading and the recipe designer send information to an AI provider when you allow it. AI output can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Where a matching published food-composition or product record is available, the app uses that record for nutrition figures. If no suitable record can be found, a clearly labelled estimate may be offered so the item is not silently omitted. Portions, food identification, estimates and recipe methods should always be checked. Treat AI output as a starting point, never as a fact about your health.

Recipes

Recipes in the app were drafted with AI assistance and are not kitchen-tested. Ingredients are matched to published food records so nutrition can be calculated, but cooking times, quantities and methods are suggestions. Check anything that matters — particularly if you have an allergy or intolerance. The app cannot guarantee a recipe is free of any ingredient.

Using the app properly

Please do not attempt to break, overload or reverse-engineer the app or its services, use it to store anything unlawful, or use automated tools against it. We may suspend an account that does. Nothing in these terms stops you exporting or deleting your own data.

Availability

We do our best to keep the app working but cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. Features that depend on outside services — Apple Health, food databases, music services, the AI provider — can change or stop working for reasons outside our control.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, NutriForMe is provided as is, and we are not liable for loss arising from your use of it. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law, including guarantees that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to resupplying the service or paying the cost of doing so.

Which law applies

These terms are governed by the law of Western Australia, Australia.
